<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage type water heater for heating water and reheating hot water in a home bath 26, having simple construction permitting efficient reheating operation for good usability. <P>SOLUTION: During reheating bathtub water, convection occurs in hot water in a hot water storage tank 22 to possibly cause the collapse of stratous boil-up conditions. Since a guide plate 30 is arranged between a bath heat transfer passage 29 and an electric heater 23 for guiding the flow of heat in the bath heat transfer passage 29, generated during reheating the bathtub water, and the electric heater 23 is used for heating near the bath heat transfer passage 29 during reheating the bathtub water, the temperature drop of high temperature water at the upper part of the hot water storage tank 22 is prevented and convection in the hot water in the hot water storage tank 22 is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
