PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the need exists for connecting various kinds equipment to a drain detecting tank to form obstruction in arranging a pressure equalizing pipe and the need exists for material costs for the equalizing pipe and costs for boring the various kinds equipment and the drain detecting tank and for connecting pipes together as well as complaints about air leak or others may occur in arranging the equalizing pipe. SOLUTION: This discharge device comprises a drain sensor 35 located in the drain detecting tank 30A communicating narrowed piping parts 20, 111, 112 with the various equipment 10 in which drain water is generated, a drain discharge valve 40, and a control part 50A having a time counting function for allowing the delivery of signals to the drain sensor 35 and the drain discharge valve 40. The control part 50A issues a drain discharge starting signal and allows a drain discharge valve 40 to discharge the drain water during a time when the drain sensor 35 senses the existence of the drain water and in accordance with a short-time drain water discharge signal 133 for pressure reduction when the drain sensor 35 does not sense the existence of the drain water.
