PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for site-selectively or stereo-selectively producing a vinylsilane. SOLUTION: The vinylsilane (1) is produced by reacting an acetylene compound of formula (2) with a silane compound of formula (3) in the presence of a titanium compound of formula (4) (R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>, A<SP>1</SP>, A<SP>2</SP>and A<SP>3</SP>are each independently H, a hydrocarbon group or the like; X<SP>1</SP>and X<SP>2</SP>are each an eliminable group; and L<SP>1</SP>and L<SP>2</SP>are each a ligand).
