PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely supply a cylindrical body into a pocket of a turret rotating intermittently without causing a shock and causing a dent and a scratch in the cylindrical body even if the intermittently rotating turret is intermittently rotated at high speed to realize a high speed line. SOLUTION: The continuously rotating supply turret 5 having the pocket 6 composed of a cylindrical body fitting circular arc part 7 and an introduction face 8 extending onto an outer peripheral face in the direction of rotation from the fitting circular arc part is arranged on the upstream side and in an outer peripheral part of the intermittently rotating turret 1 in such a way that its pitch circle comes into contact with a pitch circle of the intermittently rotating turret. The cylindrical body is transferred to the intermittently rotating turret from the continuously rotating supply turret at a position where peripheral speed when the intermittently rotating turret 1 rotates agrees with peripheral speed of the continuously rotating supply turret 5 rotating continuously at fixed speed in an acceleration region of the intermittently rotating turret.
