PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching device for a handle bar which facilitates the conveyance of manufacturing process and assembling work to the handle bar, and can reduce the cost when a user changes design. SOLUTION: The switching device is equipped with a first case 1a where an engine stop switch 2 is formed, and a second case 1b where a starter switch 3 is formed, and an extending wiring 4 from there is extended to the vehicle side as a cord C. The switching device for the handle bar is fixed to the handle bar H by aligning with the first case 1a and the second case 1b each other while pinching the handle bar H, and fastening them. The switching device is equipped with a female type connection part 5 disposed in the first case, and a male type connection part 9 disposed in the second case 1b, and the female type connection part 5 and the male type connection part 9 are connected and energized when the first case 1a and the second case 1b are aligned with each other.
