<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for an image-recording element having an extrudable image accepting layer, which can offer the proper and excellent image-receiving layer. <P>SOLUTION: This manufacturing method is characterized by comprising a process for forming a molten material of a polyester material, a process for forming a film by extruding the molten material, and a process for making the extruded film adhere to a substrate for an image-receiving element. The polyester material for use in the extruded molten material includes a polyester comprising a repetitive dibasic acid-derived unit and a polyol-derived unit; the at least 50 mol% dibasic acid-derived unit contains an alicyclic ring; the at least 25 mol% polyol-derived unit contains an aromatic ring which is not directly adjacent to each hydroxyl group of a corresponding polyol; and the 25-75 mol% polyol-derived unit of the polyester is a non-aromatic hydrocarbon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
