<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater carrying out reheating, heat retainment, and waste heat usage of bathtub water by efficiently using stored hot water heat of a hot water storage type water heater. <P>SOLUTION: The water heat is provided with a hot water storage tank 7, a heater 8 heating water from a hot water storage tank 7 upper part, a communication passage 13a communicating a lower part of the hot water storage tank 7 with the upper part, a four way valve 9 changing a direction of hot water flowing in the communication passage 13a, a water heat exchanger 10 exchanging heat with the hot water flowing in the communication passage 13a, a three way valve 11 connecting the communication passage 13a and a hot water storage tank 7 intermediate part via a bypass circuit 13b, a boil up pump 12 providing hot water to the communication passage 13a, a heating control means 15 for controlling the boil up pump 12 and the heater 8, and bathtub water circulating circuits 23 and 24 circulating the bathtub water by a bathtub water circulating pump 17 and carrying out heat exchange at the water heat exchanger 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
