PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To widen an operation region, where fuel cut can be executed, as much as possible and widely improve fuel consumption. SOLUTION: A motor control device 30 outputs an assist signal for an engine 1 to an engine control device 31 from a battery managing device 32 and effects assist control of the engine 1 so that the number of revolutions of the engine 1 is maintained at the number of revolutions of the engine at which a goal is set when a battery SO reaches a set value Sc1 or more and the running state of the engine 1 is in a region of an engine assist condition continuous to a region of a preset condition of reduction fuel cut of the engine. Further, the engine control device 31 executes fuel cut even in an operation region where a fuel cut condition to execute the reduction fuel cut described above in addition to normal reduction fuel cut is not established when an assist signal for the engine 1 is inputted from a motor control device 30.
