PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for enlarging the diameter of a fluid pipe which enables improvement of the durability of an elastic member. SOLUTION: A cylindrical fitting base 15 is fitted to a flange 14 provided at the upper front end of a tool body 13 having an inverted L shape as viewed sideways, and the base end of a diameter enlarging operation part 21 composed of six split bodies 16 is fitted to the fitting base 15. Each split body 16 is provided with a diameter enlarging operation body part 22 and a fit recess part 24 is provided in the central part in the circumferential direction of the outside of each diameter enlarging operation body part 22. Besides, an elastic ring 25 is fitted on the outside of the diameter enlarging operation body parts 22, in a state wherein six fit projections 26 formed at equal intervals inside the ring are fitted respectively in the fit recess parts 24. On the occasion when the diameter of a connecting end part of the fluid pipe is enlarged, the elastic ring 25 follows easily the outward movement in the radial direction of each split body 16 and is expanded uniformly in the circumferential direction of the diameter enlarging operation part 21.
