PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw fastener capable of using for joining of steel sheet roof building materials for the roof of a building and generating no condensation on the surface of components at an indoor side during the winter. SOLUTION: Metal fittings 7 with opened legs, a cylindrical wedge body 6, a packing 5, and a washer 4 are inserted into a screwed shaft 2 having a head 11 and a connecting portion 12 of a rotary tool. Insulated faces 15 and 16 are provided on an outer periphery of the metal fittings 7 with opened legs and a surface of the head 11 of the screwed shaft 2 of the screw fastener 1 assembled by screwing a nut 3, and a bag-shaped elastic insulating material 17 is covered and firmly stuck on an outer periphery of the cylindrical wedge body 6, an outer periphery of the metal fittings 7 with open legs, and the head 11 of the screwed shaft 2. Consequently, generation of rust caused by condensation on the screwed shaft and the metal fittings with opened legs is prevented so that condensation on the surface of the metal fittings 7 with opened legs and the head 11 of the screwed shaft 2 is prevented by blocking the surface of the metal fittings 7 with opened legs and the head 11 of the screwed shaft 2 from warm air in the indoor. Accidents such as damaging a sense of beauty, heavily damaging fastening capability of the screw fastener, and rain leaking through a roof are prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
