PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow extension of power generating period by securing fuel supply for an emergency diesel power generating facility. SOLUTION: The emergency diesel power generating facility is equipped with three units of emergency diesel power generators 1, 2, 3, and fuel tanks 4, 5, 6 connected to supply fuel to the emergency diesel power generators 1, 2, 3 respectively. The emergency diesel power generating facility is also equipped with piping connected to circulate fuel among respective fuel tanks 4, 5, 6, and valves 12a-12f mounted in the piping to interrupt a fuel flow in the piping. Fuel in the fuel tank of the emergency diesel power generating facility losing functions at an earthquake, is transferred to the he fuel tank of the emergency diesel power generating facility maintaining functions, whereby retention period of functions can be extended.
