PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound suppression structure of an opening/closing device, which can expect a higher degree of silence at the time of opening/closing an opening/closing body and the like. SOLUTION: The shutter curtain, which serves as the opening/closing body of a shutter device serving as the opening/closing device, has a slat curtain part 11 which is formed by continuously providing a plurality of slats 12. While a front side 12A, on the side of an outdoor space L2, of each of the slats 12, which are turnably connected together by curled parts 13 and 14 serving as connecting parts, is formed as a slat skin surface, a backside 12B on the side of an indoor space L1 is formed as an implanted surface which is provided with many piles 15. When the curtain part 11 is wound up by means of a wind-up member of the shutter device, the occurrence of an unusual noise is reduced by virtue of the sound suppression effect of the pile 15 because the implanted surface of the slat 12 is brought into contact with the skin surface of the other slat 12.
