摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a flicker by a common electrode driving circuit of a liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: A polarity inversion signal POL is inputted to an inverter 21, which outputs a signal, generated by inverting the polarity of the polarity inversion signal POL with the amplitude Vw of a source voltage VDD1 from a D/A converter 22, to one end side of a coupling capacitor 23. A source voltage VDD2 is supplied from a D/A converter 24 to a selector 26 through a voltage follower circuit 25 and supplied by the selector 26 to the other end side of the coupling capacitor 23 through a 1st resistance 27 or 2nd resistance 28. The voltage is supplied through the 1st resistance 27 in line inversion driving, through the 1st resistance 28 in frame inversion driving only for a specified period Tf after each frame inversion, and through the 2nd resistance 28 the specified period Tf later. Consequently, a common Vcom which has an amplitude Vw=VDD1 and a center voltage Vcen=VDD2 is outputted from the other end of the coupling capacitor 23. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
