PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new means for diagnosing and identifying dermatophytes in a dermatophyte detection method and an antigenicity activating method. SOLUTION: In the dermatophyte detection method, an antibody, having reactivity with three or more types of dermatophytes, such as Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Microsporum canis, and Epidermophyton floccosum.
