PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair which has a good appearance, a reduced number of components, and a flip-up seat which is easily assembled. SOLUTION: A seat stay (6) is attached with seat receiving brackets (11) so as to be turned. The upper surface of the seat receiving bracket (11) is fixed with a seat (12). The end of the seat receiving bracket (11) is provided with a locking portion (27), and a lower side seat cover (13) having hooking portions (28) at positions corresponding to the locking portions (27) is formed. The hooking portions (28) are engaged to the locking portions (27) to mount the lower side seat cover (13) on the lower surface side of the seat (12) so as to cover the lower surface of the seat stay (6).
