Artistics panes (100, 512) having flat and planar margins (106) with laterally offset central regions and deformations (116), as well as devices (120, 220, 320, 420, 820) and methods for making the same, are shown and described. Devices and assemblies for manufacturing such artistic panes incorporate support members (122, 222, 322, 422, 822), material nembers, raised boundary members (124, 224, 424), and can incorporate masses and/or piles of powder to create various deformations in the artistic panes. Methods of manufacturing such artistic panes can incorporate slump processes, sag processes and rolling (700) processes.
