A seat cover, especially of leather, for a motor vehicle seat comprises adjacent strips which are connected by a joint on their back surfaces by means of a covering adhesive strip (B) which is free of adhesive in the region of the join (13). An independent claim is also included for an adhesive strip for the above cover.
