A cycle hub (10), especially a rear hub, comprises two flanges (14,16) perpendicular to the long axis (12) having receiving holes for the spokes (22). In at least one flange the spoke holes are arranged in at least two radial distances. An independent claim is also included for a running wheel comprising the above, especially a rear wheel.
