A liquid container (1B), wherein a closed space (12b) in an inner container (12) with heat retaining property forming the liquid container is formed so as to be closed airtight by closing a cover structure (141), the closed space is kept in an inert gas atmosphere to cut out the contact of stored liquid with the atmosphere. When a pouring valve (168) communicating with the inner container is opened, the stored liquid can be discharged by the pressure of supplied inert gas. The deterioration of the liquid by oxidation can be effectively prevented by shielding the liquid from the atmosphere. When the stored liquid is discharged little by little, also the effect of the suppression of the deterioration is continued by the continuous supply of the inert gas.
