The invention provides a continuous casting mold which, in performing continuous casting with the application of electromagnetic force, is capable of preventing insulation quality from lowering and producing cast pieces of good quality for a prolonged period of time. A continuous casting mold comprising a solenoid coil which, in the vicinity of the meniscus of a molten metal in the continuous casting mold, applies an electromagnetic force to the molten metal in a direction normal to the inner wall of the mold, a pair of first cooling copper plates and a pair of second cooling copper plates with a pair of first back plates and a pair of second back plates assembled thereto, respectively, the pair of first cooling copper plates and the pair of first back plates being movably held between the pair of second cooling copper plates and the pair of second back plates, the continuous casting mold being characterized in that the pair of first cooling copper plates are held in such a manner that the pair of second cooling copper plates are in an electrically conductive state rather than electrically insulated.
