PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the trouble wherein a terminal, which cannot demodulate a desired signal properly, when data packets collide, suffers deteriorated throughput, compared to a terminal capable of demodulating a desired signal properly because of a large desired signal to interference power ratio, even if data packets collide, at a communication method used in a radio access system where user terminals are connected to a wired network via an access point, in order to improve the throughput for the system as a whole by simultaneous transmission from a plurality of access points.
SOLUTION: A signal to interference power ratio is determined for a received signal in user terminals; and each user terminal is classified into the one located in a non-interference region, by comparing the one located in an interference region by comparison with a required signal to interference power ratio necessary for proper demodulation. For user terminals located in the non-interference region, simultaneous transmission is conducted by a plurality of access points. As for user terminals located in the interference region, transmission is conducted in time division by a plurality of access points.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
|
