PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide interphase insulating paper which removes excessive extrusion in a coil end part and will not cause space in the topside of a cafsa to be generated, and a stator which can lower the height of a coil end to the utmost and secure sufficient interphase insulation. SOLUTION: The interphase insulating paper 10 has legs 40a and 40b which are to be inserted into the slots 53 of a stator core 52, planar parts 20 and 30, which are coupled with each other at both ends by the legs 40a and 40b and project from both end faces of the stator core 52 so as to perform insulation between each coil phase and the next, and projections 21 and 31, which are made by bending the plane parts 20 and 30. The planar parts 20 and 30 are made in the substantially V-shape which is closed to the side of the stator core 52. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
