PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a yoke with a desired outer diameter without using a pipe material, while contriving the reinforcement of the opening at the end face of a yoke. SOLUTION: A yoke 11 for a stator motor 1 is made by drawing. The yoke 11 is made in the shape of a cylinder with both their ends open, and a spigot part 35 which engages with the jointing part 37 of the front bracket 4 is made at the open end on the side of a front bracket 4. An inner collar 41, which extends in the direction of its center, is made at the internal perimeter of the tip of the spigot part 35. The inner collar 41 is thicker than a body 35a of the spigot part 35, whereby the area of a facing part 42 which faces the front bracket 4 is enlarged. The tip of the spigot part 35 is reinforced with the inner collar 41, and even if a force in the radial direction is applied to the spigot part 35 from the front bracket 4 by the load on the side of an engine, it can prevent the deformation of the spigot part 35.
