PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accumulator-distributor type fuel injection pump capable of attenuating pressure fluctuations in an accumulation chamber generated by fuel injection, and stabilizing pressure throughout the chamber. SOLUTION: The accumulation chamber 31 communicated with a distributing shaft 9 through an injection control valve 26 consists of a plurality of detached accumulation chambers 31a, 31b communicated with each other by a communication oil passage 36. The oil passage 36 is provided with an attenuation valve 37, and the pressure fluctuations in the chamber 31 are quickly attenuated by the valve 37, thereby stabilizing the pressure throughout the chamber 31.
