The emptying slide plate (22) is stabilized during opening and closure by a connecting component (26) hung on a bearing unit (28) attached to the trough wall (16). This unit (28) is aligned axially with the axis of rotation (24) of the emptying slide plate (22). The emptying slide axis and the bearing unit are attached to the outer side (42) of the trough wall, at defined spacing from it. The bearing unit has a stub axis (2) carrying a bearing shell (34). This is connected to the end fastening of the connector (26). An alternative construction is described. The second end of the connector is fixed to the circumferential edge of the emptying slide plate. The length of the connector is adjustable, and includes a turnbuckle.
