The fuel injection valve for a motor vehicle internal combustion engine has a magnetic coil controlling a spring returned valve needle to engage a valve seat (5). The seat has two injection openings (7) formed in it. The combustion chamber facing side of he seat body has a seating (35) extending radially over the injection openings.
