The inflatable building block in its air-filled state has plane sides and preferably on its top surfaces has devices for connecting to other building blocks. Plane surfaces and uniformly rounded edges and corners are achieved by the technical construction. A film impenetrable by air forms a large section of a cylinder, and this part cylinder form lies opposite another. The radius of one cylindrical form does not correspond to the radius of the other. An air-penetrable film is located on the chordal plane and maintains the part cylindrical volumes in a circular arc shape when filled with air.
