PURPOSE: A method for servicing a voice call in accordance with a user request while servicing wireless data communication is provided to enable a terminal to enter a dormant mode at the request of a user who wants a voice call while maintaining an existing PPP state, and to supply a voice call service, thereby realizing user convenience. CONSTITUTION: A terminal receives a wireless data communication service request from a user(201). The terminal connects with a wireless data communication service through a wireless communication network, and reports to the user(202). The terminal receives a key input from the user who wants a voice call(203). The terminal checks whether a data transceiving process is in progress(204). If so, the terminal stands by until the data transceiving process is not in progress(205), and enters a dormant mode if the data transceiving process is completed(206). The terminal enables the user to use a voice call service(207). |
