PURPOSE: A radio control type vacuum cleaner is provided to enable a user to easily perform cleaning by using a wireless hose as a suction hose connected to a body and a handle. CONSTITUTION: In a vacuum cleaner including a body and a handle, an RF transmitting unit is installed at the handle. The RF transmitting unit includes an encoder(410) connected to a key input unit(310), a frequency mixer(430), and a transmitting antenna(450) for transmitting a signal amplified by the frequency mixer. An RF receiving unit is installed at the body, and includes a receiving IC for receiving a key signal through a receiving antenna, an inverter IC, a decoder, and a signal processing unit.
