PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a man-power drive mechanism capable of effectively converting man-power to a motive power suitable for a vehicle driven by a bicycle, and a three-wheeled bicycle, a four-wheeled bicycle. SOLUTION: Pedals 3, 16 are mounted to sliders 2, 18 in two pairs of linear guide 1, 15 and fixing bar 4, 17 are connected to a chain 5. The chain 5 has a mechanism for rotating sprockets 6, 7, 8. Sprockets 10, 12 are mounted to the sprockets 7, 8 by shafts 9, 11 and driving force can be transmitted to the sprockets 10, 12. A rachet is built-in in the sprockets 10, 12 and has a mechanism that the driving force of the shaft is only transmitted in a clockwise direction.
