摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of using a refrigerant with a pressure characteristic that is about 1.5 times higher than an R22 refrigerant under the same temperature like an R410A refrigerant by reducing a condensing pressure of refrigerant to a withstand pressure or less of existing piping used for the R22 refrigerant or an R407C refrigerant. SOLUTION: In the air conditioner, a refrigerant circuit is composed by sequentially connecting a compressor, a heat source unit side heat exchanger, a restrictor device, and a using side heat exchanger by piping, and a refrigerant is used having an operating pressure higher than the R22 refrigerant or the R407C refrigerant at the same temperature. It is characterized by that rising of a refrigerant pressure is suppressed by carrying out first heat exchange by air when the condensing pressure of the refrigerant is a first predetermined pressure or less as a fluid to be cooled when the heat source unit side heat exchanger is used as a condenser, additionally starting second heat exchange by water when the condensing pressure of the refrigerant exceeds the first predetermined pressure, and carrying out pressure suppression by the water.
