PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting which uses in common a bracing member arranged on an upper edge of a stile of each of inner and outer Shojis. SOLUTION: The fitting is formed of a frame body 2 arranged in an opening of a building, and consisting of a head 2a, a sill 2b, and right and left jambs 2d, 2c, inner rails 8a, 8b arranged on the head 2a and sill 2b, outer rails 7a, 7b arranged on the head 2a and sill 2b, and inner and outer Shojis 3, 4 arranged in the frame body 2 in a laterally movable manner to open/close the opening via the inner and outer rails. The Shojis 3, 4 each have a top rail 5a, a bottom rail 5b, and the right and left stiles 5d, 5c, and a thickness ta of the inner rail 8a of the head 2a is formed thicker than a thickness tb of the outer rail 8b. Further the bracing member 13 is arranged on an upper edge of the stile 5d of each of the inner and outer Shojis 3, 4, corresponding to each of the inner and outer rails 8a, 8b of the head 2a, and the bracing member 13 has its variable groove width dx, whereby it is available for the inner and outer Shojis 3, 4 in common.
