PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the flow of a cleaning liquid discharged from an opening in an ultrasonic cleaner having a cleaning tank 2 having the opening for an object to be cleaned below the level of the cleaning liquid, a water storage tank 5 for storing the cleaning liquid discharged from the opening, and a pump 6 for returning the cleaning liquid stored in the water storage tank 5 to the cleaning tank 2. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic cleaner has the cleaning tank having the opening below the level of the cleaning liquid, the water storage tank for storing the cleaning liquid discharged from the opening, the pump for returning the cleaning liquid stored in the water storage tank to the cleaning tank, and a water leakage prevention means which is installed in the opening and prevents the flow of the cleaning liquid discharged from the opening.
