The device has a cylinder (12) with movable piston with shaft projecting from its end facing the piston rod. At the end remote from the piston is a servo piston having a smaller diameter than the piston. The servo piston is set longitudinally displaceable to a predetermined amount in the pressure chamber which is formed in the component which is mounted at the piston-end of the piston rod and can be elastically radially expanded at least in part. The shaft connecting the piston and servo piston is guided through a complementary opening in the expandable component. A compression spring such as a metal coil spring is set between the piston and radially expandable part.
