The system has a communication path between the services and the user stations and a second path between the user and the services stations. The second communication path includes a network (107) transmitting data based on a second protocol. A device (106) receives the data packets from the user station (102) and supplies them to the first network. A second device (108) receives the data packets from the first network and routes them to the services station (101) via a second network (103) transmitting data based on a first protocol. Preferably the second device establishes a path to the services station. A path identifier is assigned to the path and are assigned to the received data packets.
