The wheelchair is equipped with four wheels, two (2) of them fitted with ring-shaped pushing handles to be used by the occupant. A flywheel (3) is attached to the axle (4) of the large wheels (2) with a stub axle (9), accommodated within the ring-shaped handle, and connected to the wheel (2) with a slip clutch (5). One of the wheels (2) is provided with an intermediate transmission unit (7) with a reversing function in order to neutralize the gyrating forces.
