AIR FILTER WITH PHOTOCATALYST, ANIONS AND AN ANTIMICROBIAL FILTER FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE: An air filter for a vehicle is provided to make the inside of the vehicle clean by sterilizing, deodorizing, and purifying foreign materials flowing into a filter frame with a photocatalyst, anions, and an antimicrobial filter through each step. CONSTITUTION: A filter frame(10) has inserting grooves at upper and lower frames(11,12) of the filter frame; projection units(18) and cut units(17) cut at constant intervals to connect the outside of the inserting groove with a hollow part(16); an insertion space part(15) formed in a side frame and connected with both ends of the inserting groove; and plural coupling holes(15a) arranged on the side of the insertion space part to penetrate the outside. First and second circuit boards(20,21) combine with the inserting hole and have fitting holes(22) on the surface at regular intervals along the horizontal direction. Ends of first and second electrode needles are fixed to the fitting holes of the first and second circuit boards and the other ends are projected upward to generate anions to the circuit boards with corona discharge by potential difference. Both ends of a third circuit board(23) are combined to the insertion space part and electrically coupled with the first and second circuit boards and the third circuit board comprises plural fixing holes(24) formed on the upside to pass through the coupling holes and a power terminal(25) having one end joined to the fixing hole and the other end protruded outward to apply power. A filtering member(40) is positioned in the rear side of the hollow part to antimicrobial-purify foreign materials as dust and mold flowing in through the hollow part with a photocatalyst. A filter member(50) is integrally injection-molded with the filter frame in front of the hollow part to antimicrobial-sterilize the residual foreign materials passing through the filtering member. An ultraviolet lamp is arranged in the rear side of the filtering member to promote catalysis at the filtering member by light as an energy source. A power supply unit is electrically coupled to the ultraviolet lamp and the power terminal to supply power.
