PURPOSE: A particle radiation therapy system is provided to improve the safety by previously preventing the wrong beam from being transported to a therapy room, not to be irradiated. CONSTITUTION: The particle radiation therapy system includes: a charged particle beam generating device, radiating the charged particle beam; plural therapy rooms(2A), having an irradiation device(15A) which irradiates the charged particle beam; plural beam transporting systems(4,5A), communicating with the charged particle beam generating device to respectively transport the charged particle beam, radiated from the charged particle beam generating device, to each irradiation device(15A); and a first shutter(7A), arranged in at least one of the beam transporting systems(4,5A) so as to intercept the beam path(61,62) thereof.
