<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the reception sensitivity of an incorporated antenna from deteriorating without increasing the case diameter of a watch. <P>SOLUTION: The wrist watch having radio functions comprises: a back cover 14 including a glass plate 142 made of a non-conductive member; a movement 16 that is arranged on the back cover 14 and attains a clocking function; a case 12 that covers the back cover 14 and the movement 16 from the upper portion and is made of a conductive member; and a bar antenna 17 for receiving radio waves from the outside. In the wrist watch, the bar antenna 17 is arranged with an interval between end faces 17a, 17b and the inner surface of a space 122 in the space 122 formed by shaving a thick section in the sidewall of the case 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
