摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance fuel economy of a hybrid automobile provided with an engine automatic stopping function for restarting a fuel-supply when the engine rotational speed is decreased to a prescribed rotational speed. <P>SOLUTION: The hybrid automobile is provided with a means 7 for stopping the engine 1 as a driving source on the basis of prescribed driving conditions. The engine stopping means 7 stops the engine during vehicle deceleration, and when the rotational speed has dropped to a prescribed value, the engine is restarted. When a judgement on a prescribed engine stop holds at the time when the engine rotational speed is decreased to a prescribed rotational speed N1, the engine-stopping means 7 cancels a restart of the engine, and when the above judgement does not hold, the means 7 restarts the engine (steps 45, 46, 48, 49, 51). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
