<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a normal temperature melting salt with low reduction potential not corroding an aluminum material at a positive electrode side, and to provide a lithium secondary battery using the normal temperature melting salt as an electrolyte. <P>SOLUTION: The normal temperature melting salt is used for the electrolyte solution of a storage element equipped with a current collector made of an aluminum material for an electrode at a positive electrode side. It consists of cation expressed in structural formula (1) and one kin of anion selected from a group of BF<SB>4</SB><SP>-</SP>, PF<SB>6</SB><SP>-</SP>, CF<SB>3</SB>SO<SB>3</SB>-, (CF<SB>2</SB>CO)N<SP>-</SP>SO<SB>2</SB>CF<SB>3</SB>, and (C<SB>2</SB>F<SB>5</SB>SO<SB>2</SB>)<SB>2</SB>N<SP>-</SP>. Of the lithium secondary battery provided with a pair of electrodes, a current collector arranged at each electrode, and electrolyte solution, with the collector arranged at the positive side electrode made of an aluminum material, the electrolyte solution is the normal temperature melting salt consisting of the cation and the anion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
