<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of obtaining stable print quality free of image absence etc., caused by a form peeling claw during low-density printing or intermittent printing as an image forming apparatus using a fixing device where a form peeling claw is arranged. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention is characterized in that fixation conditions of the fixing device are changed according to the operation history of a developing device, the fixation conditions of the fixing device are changed when average print density decreases below predetermined print density, or the time of rotating operation of the developing device in its actuation is varied according to the past print density of images on recording medium stored at the stop of the device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
