<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently and easily carrying palladium chloride on a carrier, and to produce a palladium chloride carrying catalyst manufactured by using the method. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises carrying the palladium chloride on the carrier by impregnating the carrier with a liquid medium containing the palladium chloride, in which the liquid medium is one or more selected from the group consisting of water and alcohols and the liquid medium further contains one or more selected from the group consisting of alkaline earth metal chlorides and ammonium chloride. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
