<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely and easily return a desired screen when tracing printing condition setting screens with a tree structure printing setting items from subordinate concepts to leading concepts. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device comprises a click frequency determination means. In setting of a printing condition by successively tracing the printing condition setting screens from leading concepts for printing condition to subordinate concepts, the click frequency determination means determines, when the speed of a click operation continuously performed twice in order to return the printing condition setting screen related to the leading concept in the printing condition setting screen related to a certain subordinate concept exceeds a predetermined speed, that one click operation is performed, and determines that two click operations are performed when this speed is lower than the predetermined speed.
