PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a LINC system linear amplifier which performs linear amplification using a plurality of nonlinear amplifiers which operate with high power efficiency, and can output a value near to a desired value by appropriate correction even when there are differences in amplitudes or phases among the nonlinear amplifiers. SOLUTION: A signal separation portion 11 separates an input signal into constant amplitude signals of two systems. Each phase correction portion 12, 13 rotates each constant amplitude signal by a specified phase amount, and performs phase correction. Each nonlinear amplifier 14, 15 amplifies 14, 15 each phase-corrected constant amplitude signal, and outputs a signal of a constant amplitude. An addition portion 16 compounds outputs of the nonlinear amplifiers 14, 15, and outputs their compound value as an output. A phase correction quantity calculation portion 17 calculates quantities of phases corrected in the correction portions 12, 13, on the basis of the phase differenceΔϕand the ratioαof the output amplitudes of the nonlinear amplifiers 14, 15.
