PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incoming call monitoring system for a portable terminal which can visually observe immediately incoming call information without feeling anxiousness about an incoming call sound and a vibrator incoming call sound to the circumference if an incoming call is received by the portable terminal. SOLUTION: A portable telephone 1 includes a radio section 12 as a first radio unit connected to a radio communication network, a message transmitter 19 as a second radio unit used for radio communication different from the radio section 12, and a controller 13 for transmitting the information of an effect that, when the incoming call is received by the radio section 12 during a predetermined mode, the incoming call is received via the message transmitter 19 to a receiver.
