PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select presence/absence of connection to a main body by making a handset and a handset receiving part into a unit. SOLUTION: A handset unit 1 formed by making the handset 2 and the handset receiving part 3 of the intercom into a unit is attachably/detachably connected with an intercom body 4, the intercom is used as a hands free type by detaching the handset unit 1 from the intercom body 4 and the handset is used as a hands free type with handset by connecting the handset unit 1 to the intercom body 4.
