PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To read out a radio tag surely by a small number of antennas. SOLUTION: An antenna 14 is mounted on the side face of an area 13 through which a visitor 12 possessing a radio tag 11 passes, a linear motor 15 is disposed vertically in the central part of the antenna, and a flat antenna 16 is installed on the rail of the linear motor. When a first detector located in front of the flat antenna detects the visitor, the flat antenna begins to irradiate a radio wave while being moved up and down by means of the linear motor.
