PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a user need to manually set preservation information, such as the starting date, starting time, ending time, and channel of a program to be reserved, even if an already recorded program is recorded in the second time or thereafter, and hence operation is complex in a conventional program preservation system. SOLUTION: While a program recorded in a recording/reproducing means 14 is being reproduced or selected, an equipment operation means 12 is operated for generating the preservation information of the same second time or thereafter in the starting time, ending time, and channel as the program in a preservation information generating means 16.
