PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a traveling transmission apparatus for a work vehicle transmitting an output of an engine 3 to a rear-wheel differential mechanism 14 through a hydrostatic pressure type continuously variable transmission 30 and a gear transmission 13 compact, and to facilitate maintenance work of the continuously variable transmission 30. SOLUTION: In the traveling transmission apparatus for the work vehicle, a transmission case 25 accommodating the gear transmission 13 and the rear-wheel differential mechanism 14 is coupled to the rear of the engine 3. The continuously variable transmission 30 is disposed in the vehicle body rear side of the gear transmission 13 of the transmission 25 and in the vehicle body rear side also of an output shaft 14a of the rear-wheel differential mechanism 14.
